Grenade attack wounds 11 in Nowshera

At least eleven people, including five security personnel and six civilians, were injured in Nowshera on the Tuesday in the hand grenade attack on GT Road near PAF Engineering Centre, security sources said.

According to security forces, a large number of young men were present near PAF Engineering Center gate no.3 for the recruitment for PAF engineering wing when unknown attackers riding on two motorbikes hurled two hand grenades and fled the scene.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the attack and launched the search operation.

The injured people were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and DHQ hospital.
