Austronaut Neil Armstrong passed away



Neil-armstrong-passed-awayFirst man on moon Neil Armstrong has passed away aged 82. He was suffering from heart disease and recently underwent a bypass. Neil Armstrong who wrote history by walking on the moon had a passion for flying since his childhood. He accompanied his father in a flight at the tender age of six. He carried the passion of flying all along his life.

Neil Armstrong was commander of the famous Apollo 11 mission. In that capacity he became first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. At that moment he said his famous words ““That’s one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind.” He was aged 38 at that time.

His 1st mission to space turned last as he was appointed on some desk job afterwards. Neil Armstrong was a man of his own universe. He never steeped into glamour’s life.

He lived in the Cincinnati area with his spouse, Carol. His family broke the news of his death short while ago

“We are heartbroken to share the news that Neil Armstrong has passed away following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures,” the family said in a statement. “Neil was our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
