NASA more than just Space Rovers!
Space, for scientists, is a book and they have read not even the preface fully. From these words coming out of scientist mouths, it is rather sure that we still know pretty less regarding the galaxy we live in; or even our neighboring planets. The easiest body apart from our own planet was the moon, which is appealing to astronomers for a fairly short period of time. The successful launch of Curiosity proves that NASA is more than just space rovers
What became interesting to them were planets, and as common sense says it is simpler to reach the neighboring ones first. Mars has always been of keen significance to us, majorly because it has given some suspicions of life from the beginning. Signs of water and other have given clues that there could be life present at Mars, as well.
Due to these positive clues, scientists have continued their expeditions to Mars and have sent a number of machines over there; as in spaceships sort of things. The latest that landed successfully is named Curiosity, as it apparently reduces our curiosity about Mars and stuff. This probe was expected to be something awesome since the successful landing of Curiosity, and it proved to be one.
Pictures and shots sent to earth from Curiosity have increased doubts, or in fact transformed them into beliefs, that life does exist on Mars. Partially because of high advancements in technology now, which was surely absent in earlier missions, this project turned out to be more of a success than disappointment. At present the Curiosity is examining the surface of the crater it landed on, and in near future it will move towards a 19,000 feet mountain which is not that secluded.
Although Curiosity has provided way more information and signs for life at Mars but does surely does not mean that the mystery ends. Life at Mars is still mostly found in fiction novels rather than in this 3D world. There are limitless things still to come, despite the hard work is on since past 50 years or so.

But there is always another perspective of the thing. “What’s the point of all this?” “Why is NASA wasting financial resources on robots in space?” and “What has NASA actually done for us lately”? “We must first make this world a better place to live for and then search life on other planets?” Well, there is so many hidden accomplishments we world are unaware of?
For example, Technology used in Hubble Telescope can be used to serve humanity as well. This technology can assist in early revealing of breast cancer. On the same grounds a silicon chip that was originally produced for the telescope is being used to make breast cancer screening tests less excruciating, less blemishing and inexpensive and there are countless examples that can be cited.
The achievements of NASA are not just limited to America or Europe, NASA is an organization that is working for the development of mankind and for whole communities around the globe, and they are credible for our appreciation.
